About

Hi, I'm Sandy, better known as Say! Thank you for stopping by! I'm a 20 something Marketing Director / Webmaster / Video Collaboration Specialist (say that ten times fast) in New Jersey.

It's never too late in life to make positive changes for yourself, whether large or small. Go big or go home is my motto & I'm going big! I had a minor set back but knew i needed to kick it back into gear to be happy & feel better again; I will not give up or allow myself to fall back into my old habits or negativity. Thats not how i want to live. Seeing the amazing changes in myself mentally & physically has been the most rewarding part. I love living a happier, healthier, more fulfilling & positive lifestyle.

I know how tough it can be to stay motivated alone, hell I've fallen off the wagon a few times. That's why I'm keeping this blog to help keep me going, to remind myself how far I've come. Maybe a long the way it will help inspire others to keep going as well!

You want to know more? Ok here it is...

The Say Breakdown:

Hyper, hilarious, down to earth, non materialistic, absolutely adorable & sometimes awkward... I strongly embrace my weirdness & being different.

Playing & watching sports is my thing... yes I am one of those individuals that gets super excited/angry, jumps up & yells at the TV.

I take working out, make up, video games & designing pretty seriously.

If I could I would spend all day/everyday outside; Hiking, running, fishing, camping (& I mean tent camping... I hate my parents trailer).

I like to keep life interesting & try new things... I sometimes get bored.

Always on the prowl for my next adrenalin rush!

I have a Bucket List.

Love to laugh. At everything...

Horror movie junkie & action flick type of girl. Dislike chick flicks (If I have to watch them I will... but I prefer not to).

Halloween is my ALL TIME favorite... & I LOATHE Valentines Day.

I have a big heart... I'm a mush.

I do volunteer work & love being able to help others.

I have an older sister "T" who I'm very close with... & she really needs to move back to Jersey.

Slight addictions to hot sauce & pumpkin flavored anything, Wawa, shiny objects (I know ridiculous) & PUPPIES... I want one sooo bad.

 Panda's, Dalmatians & Husky's... I love animals in general.

HATE liars.

I can not... & will not eat jelly... grossness. Makes me cringe just thinking about it.

I have a habit of making up my own words; they have been dubbed "Sandyisums". The best part; you know you hangout with me too much if you actually know what I mean or you start using them.

I have the worst sense of direction, I'd get so lost without my GPS.

Guilty pleasures are garbage pizza, hot wings, mexican food, Skittles & Swedish fish.

Coffee, Mountain Dew, Pinot & Jack Daniels <3 (not together of course! I don't really drink these much anymore... but they will always be a fave. Coffee & soda free for 5 months!)

If I'm not working, exercising, or with my family or friends... you will find me in the kitchen. Baking & decorating cupcakes Sandy Crappy Cupcakes are a little obsession of mine. Also, since my clean eating revolution I make my meals fresh... everyday. Finding ways to prepare my favorite foods clean & gluten free has been time consuming & challenging but just because its made healthy doesn't mean it has to skimp on flavor!

I have severe arachnophobia... I go into automatic panic-mode & scream even when I see a little tiny one. I'm also afraid of clowns & needles.

I'd be lost without music in my life.

I'm a Gemini... so I guess that could explain a lot!

Professionally, I hold a BA degree in Communication Arts: Design & Interactive Media from Ramapo College. I'm in the process of researching Masters programs. I'm a graphic & web designer/developer with close to seven years experience in my field. I currently work at Millennium Technologies which is a certified Value Added Reseller. I'm also a web master & graphic designer at Push to Walk, which is a non-profit organization that provides one on one workouts with certified trainers for people with spinal cord injuries. I absolutely love my jobs! I also volunteer at all the special events Push to Walk has throughout the year (Casino Night is in March!).
